We require transport in first week of December 2006 for 4 adults and 1 child (7 years) (including Luggage) from Capital Park, Pretoria to Oliver Tambo International Airport (JHB) at 04:30. (For security reasons specific date and address details have been removed)

- Please quote price of transfer and type vehicle that will be used.

- What additional cost is charged if trailer is needed for luggage?

1. Without the specifics mentioned, I cannot keep the cheapest vehicle on indefinite standby so will give you options which will be subject to availability when you know precisely when the service is required.

Firstly there is a Tazz which is fine for two and normal luggage but it is not air conditioned (and hardly needs to be if we are starting at 17:30). I personally drive this one and the cost would be R250.00 for the trip. Total charge.

If you want an air conditioned Microbus the price would be R300,00 and a C Class Mercedes would be R400,00

2. For the return trip we have to use either the Microbus or Vito as both are licensed for 7 people. Usual price for such a trip with full load is R350 to R380, just depending on who is available at the specific time. Ironically the cheaper one does not charge extra for the addition of a trailer and the more expensive guy adds R100,00. With 12 years of experience, my only comment is that it will be a mountain of luggage for 5 people.

Thank you for your enquiry. The best price I have on a Mercedes Vito (7pax) is R1 100,00 each way from JIA to Sun City. Depending on how much further East Rand, you are the price could be more. Then I have a number of Microbus operators whose prices range from R1250 to R1400 per trip and a few go even higher to over R2 000,00. A few charge extra if a trailer is needed. My cheapest Vito operator does not charge extra but usually

the price ranges from R50 to R100 extra per trip.

As you give neither date/s nor times, I cannot commit to the cheapest being available when you precisely need them. All of my Microbus/Vito operators are registered tour operators and as this is a busy time of the year for them the chances of your getting lowest prices are slim. Let me know as soon as you have specific details and I will shop around and firm up best price for you.

Thank you for your enquiry. We can certainly supply the vehicle but it is just a matter of what time do you need to be picked up at what specific address in Sandton.

You make no mention of return trip. If you do require a return trip, then we need to know the latest departure time from Lesedi ? If the wait is longer than 5 hours will the driver be supplied with a meal ? Am I right in guessing that you only need a semi-lux bus or you want a full luxury bus?

Just for the record, in case such a need arises in the future, we prefer to have at least 24 hours notice in order to shop for the best deal if our smallest and cheapest vehicles are not available. In this instance the price would have been R240,00 for one person for the one way trip.

We can certainly supply a Microbus/Vito for the trip but as all the operators have their own widely differing price structures, I need to know both date and time as well as suburb in Krugersdorp. Armed with that information, I can usually get back to you within one working day with the best price out of those available at the specific time. Will a return booking be required, and if so please mention date and flight number. Quite often if there are two trips involved, some of my drivers offer a better price for the return trip.

Thanks for the specifics. I got three quotes of R400, R450 and R350, I have reserved the latter for you to confirm if that is within budget.
It will be in a Vito with the guy who dose most of my Microbus work so I am totally confident about the quality of the service.

When confirming, please let me now have the specific address at which you desire to be picked up. Also Airports Company has no record of "flight numbers" given and they suggest they could be booking numbers. I was just double checking if the pick up time allowed us 40 minutes for an international flight (and that would be cutting it very fine) but for local, the allowance of 1 hour 40 minutes would be more than ample. Your departure flight number is of no consequence to us but we specifically like to know the flight number for the return as well as the carrier so that we can monitor progress and not be waiting at the airport for hours if there is a delay.

Thank you for your enquiry. The current cheapest rate per trip in each direction, I have in a Microbus is R1250 and R1350,00 - just depending on who is available at the time of confirming, if it falls within budget. Both are currently available for both dates so the sooner you react the better chance of the cheaper option. I have many who charge between R1500 and R2 000 as they charge per trip as well as so much per passenger.

On confirmation you will be supplied with driver name and cell number.

Thank you for your enquiry. We have a small car available for two with normal luggage at a price of R200,00. Should you require something bigger, please specify your needs and we will quote accordingly.

If this is within budget, please supply the flight number so as to enable us to be at the correct terminal and monitor arrival time in case of delays.
